Since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. (Hebrews 12:1-3) -- Day 3, 30 Days of PrayerToday was the last day. It is so very bitterweet. We are spent physically and emotionally; however it is hard to say good bye to these ladies that we have laughed, cried, prayed and shared our lives with. It is such a joy to see our guests leave so happy.
One attendee summarized it well for all of them when she said, "Now I feel normal. Before I came here I felt crazy!"
Every evening after the sun sets; there is the most WONDERFUL scent from the night blooming jasmine. Pray with me that our time with these precious women and their faithful service is a sweet smelling offering to our great God.
